Your new furry friend: Cinnamon

Cinnamon is fairly new to the shelter. At about 5 years old, Cinnamon is a very calm girl who is spayed and will soon be fully vaccinated. She is happy to sit back and quietly watch while the other dogs are barking and jumping around. She gets on well with other dogs and just wants a bit of affection from time to time. Cinnamon would benefit greatly from being in a home environment. She is missing several teeth on one side of her mouth, making it difficult for her to eat the harder dry food at the shelter.

She is getting more wet food right now so that we can ensure she is eating, but it is not the best diet for her belly. In a home environment, her meals could be prepared by moistening her dry food with water. Plus, she will have the time she needs to eat at her own pace without fear of someone stealing her meals since it takes her a bit longer to eat. If you are looking for a super sweet dog with a very calm disposition, Cinnamon is definitely looking for you!

The shelter is located within minutes of Seven Mile Beach at the A.L. Thompson’s roundabout. Contact: 949-1461 or e-mail [email protected] Shelter Hours are on Monday through Friday: 11am to 5pm; and Saturdays from 9am to 4pm.
