Hospice Flag Day set

More than 150 Cayman HospiceCare volunteers will be blanketing Grand Cayman from Friday, 8 March, until Saturday, 9 March, for the 13th annual Flag Day weekend.

Volunteers can be spotted in their bright green event tees and giving out sunflower stickers to everyone who makes a donation.

“The event has become a tradition and is one of our most successful fundraisers each year,” said Jennifer Grant-McCarthy of the Cayman HospiceCare.

She added that even the smallest donations make a difference and everything is greatly appreciated.

“You can help Cayman HospiceCare to continue giving quality palliative and end-of-life care, free of charge to any person in the Cayman Islands. We exist almost solely upon donations and it is only with the continued support of these kinds of fundraisers that Cayman HospiceCare can continue these services,” Mrs. Grant-McCarthy said.
