The CML Cup semifinal second legs were played by the Sunday League teams over the weekend.
Cup holders Harry’s went into their return match at the Ed Bush Sports Complex with Old Boys holding a 5-1 lead from the first leg and repeated the result.
Old Boys missed chances before Harry’s got into their rhythm.
Harry’s Mark Ingle hit the bar before finally opening the scoring on 25 minutes, profiting from a slip by the unfortunate Myles in the Old Boys goal.
Harry’s Chris Fenn hit their second just before the break. Phil Griffiths made it 3-0 before Paul Chivers pulled a consolation goal back for the Old Boys two minutes later.
Fenn’s second and a Liam Brigend goal finished the game on 5-1 and 10-2 overall.
The other semifinal at the TE McField Annex was still in the balance with Triple Crown Wanderers holding a 1-0 advantage over Agua from their first leg.
In the 17th minute, an error by the Agua keeper gifted Wanderers the lead when he kicked the ball straight to Wanderers striker Shennon Hanna, who seized the chance and scored.
Keigel Atkinson then put Wanderers two up with a deft lob over the keeper.
Agua replied just before the break through Edward Richards.
In the second half the nearest Agua came to scoring again was when a Patrick Kathiari free-kick had Lee Parry diving acrobatically to save.
Wanderers went through 3-1 on aggregate.
The final, between Harry’s and the Wanderers, will be played at the TE McField Annex on 12 May to conclude the Sunday League season.
