The Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association is inviting marketers who wish to engage more effectively with their customers and differentiate their brand to attend Cayman’s first annual marketing conference on Tuesday, 7 May at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort.
“Local practitioners – whether they market services or products, or sell directly to businesses or clients – can expect to benefit from up-to-the-minute exposure to new marketing approaches and techniques,” said Marie Parker, CIMPA chairwoman.
The full-day conference features local and international thought leaders who will address topics ranging from brand management and measurement to content marketing, customer engagement, leveraging community for marketing programmes and managing your own marketing career.
CIMPA planned the event to meet the need for ongoing professional development, Ms. Parker said. “Hosting this forum in Cayman makes cutting-edge training more convenient and affordable for everyone.”
The conference keynote speaker is Erin O’Keefe, global head of brand management at KPMG International. Other international speakers scheduled to present are Ted Rubin, chief Social Marketing at Collective Bias, and Mark and Cheryll Burgess, principals at Blue Focus Marketing. Mr. Burgess also teaches at Rutgers Business School.
