Bolt ready to wow Grand Cayman

The world’s fastest man Usain “Lightning” Bolt flew in from Jamaica on a Cayman Airways flight on Tuesday and was met by an adoring crowd at the Owen Roberts International Airport in
Grand Cayman.

The 26-year-old Jamaican is here to run in the 100 metre sprint on Wednesday night in the Cayman Invitational at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex.

It is Bolt’s first 100m race of the year, as he prepares for the world championships in Moscow in August.

The six-time Olympic gold medallist has said he has gotten over his hamstring strain of last week and assured Cayman meet director Cydonie Mothersill that he is fit to run.

  1. Bolt makes everyone in the Caribbean proud and shows what can be done with perseverance and hard work.

I hope everything goes well with the meet and his injury does not hinder his performance. Anyone have a radar gun?
