Dogfight in BT

As results started to trickle into the district of Bodden Town, a confused jumble of candidates appeared with just about 50 votes separating the first-place holder from the seventh-place candidate.

Early on, it appeared that the People’s Progressive Movement had the upper hand with candidates Anthony Eden and Osbourne Bodden in first and third place respectively.

However, United Democratic Party candidate Theresa Pitcairn was in second place and independent Charles Clifford clung to fourth place by the slimmest of margins.

It looked to be a long night with at least five other candidates within striking distance of the top four spots.
