“The Lions Sprint Meet was a fun, well-organised meet and all participating swimmers saw many fast swims,” said head coach Katie Lambert. “We are proud of all CBAC swimmers results, however, a special mention goes to Thomas Penner for shaving more than 24 seconds off his 100m individual medley time.”

After the morning meet, several CBAC swimmers headed over to Governor’s Beach for the 11th Annual Butterfield 800m Sea Swim. The club is now training for the 21st annual Flowers One Mile Sea Swim on Saturday, 15 June, and the Flowers International 5K and 10K Sea Swims on the Queen’s Birthday Public Holiday on Monday, 17 June.
