The government is again getting ready to highlight the achievements of young people in the Cayman Islands with the Proud of Them awards.
Until April 7, residents can nominate a young person between the ages of 10 and 25 years to be recognized for reaching a significant level of success in academics, business, sports, culture, community service or their careers.
As a reward, each person selected will be featured for six months at a time on billboards throughout the Cayman Islands, and will also receive a certificate.
Nominations are encouraged from each district to ensure that young people in each area can identify with those who are selected.
To nominate a young person for a “Proud of Them” award, contact Senior Policy Advisor Joel Francis or download copies of the nomination form at www.ministryofhealth.gov.ky.
