Masked robbers hit Lakeside resident

Two masked men forced a resident of a George Town apartment complex into his home Monday morning, taking $1,200 from the victim, police reported.

The male resident of the Lakeside Villas complex told police he was not injured and that the two suspects ran away toward Courts Road shortly after the 9:15 a.m. robbery.

The first suspect was described as about 6 feet, 2 inches tall, medium build with a dark brown complexion, dressed in long blue jeans and a white T-shirt over a long, black-sleeved shirt. He wore a black hoodie and brown tennis shoes. He was armed with a machete.

The second suspect was described as about 5 feet, 8 inches tall, slim build wearing long blue jeans and a blue T-shirt with black sleeves. He also wore a black hoodie over his head and was armed with a knife.

No arrests were immediately reported.
