Hamilton is shifting

Formula 1 Fans of the Cayman Islands get another chance to watch a grand prix at PD’s sports bar this weekend.

The televised Chinese race from Shanghai at PD’s in Gallaria Plaza on West Bay Road on Sunday is from 9 a.m. and a minimum $2 donation is collected which goes to charity.

All proceeds go to Cayman HospiceCare. So far, more than $700 has been raised from watching the season’s first three races.

There are plenty of cool door prizes for all members too, plus a specially themed breakfast.

Lewis Hamilton is early season leader. He is driving as well as ever, according to Mercedes co-team boss Paddy Lowe.

The Briton, who won his only World Championship with McLaren in 2008, is targeting a third successive win this weekend.
