Cocaine importation case in court

A 24-year-old man appeared in Summary Court on Wednesday, charged with importing approximately 3 pounds of cocaine at Owen Roberts International Airport on April 17.

Limborn Collin Hoy Myles, who was listed as having an Eastern Avenue address, was represented by attorney Lloyd Samson.

The attorney noted that Myles had been brought to court Tuesday morning, but Magistrate Valdis Foldats had decided that the defendant should have an interpreter to assist him.

An interpreter of the Spanish language attended on Wednesday so that the matter could proceed.

Mr. Samson did not make an application for bail.

Magistrate Grace Donalds remanded Myles in custody until April 30.
