By Rite dominant under Taylor

By Rite are on a roll after another victory, this time over Sol Tigers at the Jimmy Powell Oval in West Bay.

New By Rite captain Troy Taylor marshaled his troops producing another disciplined display. Batting first, Sol Tigers were limited to 145 runs.

Two contrasting innings by Ainsley Hall 57 and Omar Willis 48 the first very subdued and the other flamboyant in stroke play took By Rite to victory by 8 wickets.

At the Smith Road Oval, Prison got a victory for the first time this season by defeating Police by 14 runs. Lead by a master class knock of 60 from veteran Troy David, Prison scored 210 and limited Police to 196 in spite of fine contributions from Kirkpatrick Clarke 63 and another veteran Pearson Best 45.

In Division 2 action, a classy 90 from youngster Gregory Davis was not enough to help his team Schools to success against a strong Sol Cubs team. Sol Cubs made 220 with Omar Willis leading the way with 57. It was a great fight back from Davis but it was not enough. Sol Cubs won by 61 runs.
