Vehicle flips three times, driver survives

A man who was cut from his vehicle by emergency services after his car flipped three times in West Bay on Saturday survived the crash.

Royal Cayman Islands Police Service Chief Inspector Angelique Howell said a 29-year-old male was taken to the Intensive Care Unit at the Cayman Islands Hospital but his injuries were “not life-threatening.”

The Silver Toyota Altezza was traveling towards George Town when the driver lost control on the Esterley Tibbetts Highway, close to the Yacht Club roundabout.
