Man stabbed in road rage argument

A man was stabbed in the stomach during a driving row over the weekend.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a stabbing that took place in the vicinity of Royal Palms on West Bay Road around 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.

According to a police statement, “It was reported that two males got into a discussion over the manner of driving; as a result, one of the males sustained a stab wound to his stomach.”
The victim was taken to the Cayman Islands Hospital for treatment. He was later discharged.

As of Monday afternoon, no arrest had been made in the case.

The man who carried out the stabbing is described by police as dark skinned, with shaved or close cut hair, about 5 feet, 11 inches tall and of slim build. He was driving a “small SUV-type vehicle.” He was accompanied by a white woman with long blond hair and of stocky build.
