Public holidays announced for 2015

The official list of public holidays for next year has been confirmed by the Deputy Governor’s office.

The 2015 list includes 10 confirmed public holiday dates, excluding the Queen’s Birthday, which will be confirmed at a later date.

Changes to the dates include Boxing Day, since it falls on a Saturday, the corresponding public holiday will be observed on Monday, Dec. 28.

Public holidays are: New Year’s Day (Jan. 1), National Heroes Day (Jan. 26), Ash Wednesday (Feb. 18), Good Friday (April 3), Easter Monday (April 6), Discovery Day (May 18), Queen’s Birthday (June 15, to be confirmed), Constitution Day (July 6), Remembrance Day (Nov. 9), Christmas Day (Dec. 25), and Boxing Day (Dec. 28).
