Titans aim for Home Gas

The Tower Titans are standing tall on the mound. 

Week seven of the 2014 Fall Adult Coed Softball League is wrapping up at the Field of Dreams on Thursday night. Among the teams in action are the 9-0 Tower Titans, who top the A League of the competition – which is put on by the Cayman Islands Little League Association. Carol Britton and Tower challenge Home Gas at 8:15 p.m. on field three. The interleague contest features a 4-4 Home Gas team that ranks third in division one of the B League. 

Three other contests are scheduled for Thursday night. At 6:30 p.m., the Al La Kebab Hitmen face B League rivals team Dart on field three while Walkers Warriors contend with C League frontrunners Intertrust Supernovas on field four. At 8:15 p.m., team Bud Light battles Cayman National All Stars in a C League clash on field four. 

The Hitmen are fourth in division one of the B League at 3-4 while Dart are sixth out of six teams in division two at 3-5. In the C League, Walkers are second at 4-4, Intertrust sit first at 5-3, Bud Light rank third at 3-3-1 and Cayman National are fourth out of five teams at 3-5.
