Police are investigating a break-in at the Home Gas compound on Walkers Road on Wednesday morning.
According to police, a burglary at the premises was reported to them around 5 a.m. on Wednesday. Cash was reportedly stolen.
An attempted burglary at the nearby Burger King was also reported Wednesday morning.
The attempted burglary occurred at the fast food restaurant just after 1:30 a.m., police said. In that incident, two males who had smashed a glass door at the side of the building were disturbed by a member of staff.
The culprits escaped to the rear of the property.
