A local fisherman was stabbed in downtown George Town Saturday night, the Royal Cayman Islands Police confirmed.
The incident happened around 10:30 p.m. in the vicinity of Cayman Cabana. Police said a 22-year-old man was stabbed in the back and in the hand during a fight with another man.
The victim was taken to hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
No arrests were reported by police as of press time Monday.
