Camana Bay’s Arts & Recreation Centre will be abuzz with exhibitors showcasing their wares June 26-27 at the Cayman 27 Island Living Show.
The annual two-day show is a one-stop shop for consumers to peruse items and services that are available on island, including some they may have been unaware of.
The 2014 show featured a variety of displays, including custom cabinets and gardening items. Companies showcasing green energy attracted a lot of interest from consumers as well.
This year’s event will also include a range of vendors offering innovative products and advice for home and garden and all things in between.
“It’s a great way to ask businesses questions directly, whether you’re looking for help with home security, electronics and technology, or furniture and design,” said Cayman 27’s Shawna Marshall.
The show also benefits the local economy, encouraging people to support their local vendors, organizers said.
“Everyone should stop by the show to see what our local businesses have to offer,” Marshall added. “Shopping local has a huge impact on our island’s economy, so come out and support, find out what each vendor has to offer, and walk away with some amazing deals.”
Visitors can enjoy discounts and prizes at many of the booths. Rotary Sunrise will be selling raffle tickets with the chance to win a car, and those who submit their vote for Best Booth have a chance to win a high-end generator or other door prizes from Cayman 27. Wedding and event planning company Save the Date was the 2014 winner of Best Booth and will return this year to defend the title.
“Whether you are just looking for new ideas, complete new home build or renovations, Cayman 27’s Island Living Show brings it all together for you under one roof,” Marshall said. “Don’t forget to bring your wallet along with you so you don’t miss out on all the show specials.”
Organizers are encouraging companies to sign up quickly so they do not miss out on the platform the show provides.
“This is a great opportunity to get valuable face-to-face time with thousands of potential customers,” Marshall said. “Many vendors build databases for their business, which can be invaluable when reaching out to potential clients. Show specials increase the potential for the purchase, as who doesn’t love a great deal.”
The 2015 Island Living Show is on Friday, June 26, from 5 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the ARC at Camana Bay. The venue has ample parking, and food and beverages will be available for purchase. Those wishing to exhibit should contact [email protected]
