Teed up for Montego Bay

The Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships begin on Tuesday and run until Friday in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The Cayman team consists of Brian Ross, Andrew Jarvis, Serge Berube, Richard Hastings, Peyton Wight (men); Samantha Widmer, Isabel Mendes, Nitti Howe (women); Philip Wight, Paul Woodhouse (mid-amateurs); and Michael Wight, Tracy Moore (senior), Richard Jones and Mike Dill (super seniors).

Meanwhile, Justin Hastings, runner-up in his age group at the recent Caribbean Amateur Junior Golf Championships, is playing in the U.S. Kids Golf World Championship in Pinehurst, North Carolina, from Thursday to Saturday.

Now in its 15th year, the World Championship is described as the world’s largest and most prestigious event for kids ages 12 and under.
