Three arrested, two injured in Shedden Road fight

Three men were arrested following a fight on Shedden Road Wednesday evening that left two men injured, according to police.

Officers responded to a disturbance at Beauty Salon and Barber Shop on Shedden Road near the intersection with North Sound Road at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday. Police arrested two George Town men, ages 19 and 20, and a 21-year-old Bodden Town man on suspicion of affray.

Witnesses in the area on Thursday described a scene where two of the men were beating up a third.

Police say one of the men “received cuts from a sharp bladed instrument and another received a small wound to the head.” Both were treated at a hospital and turned over to police custody. Two of the men were released on police bail.

The 19-year-old was also arrested on a separate matter, according to police, and remains in custody.
