The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service destroyed 25 kilograms of cocaine that washed up along the shore near Prospect Cemetery earlier this week, a police spokesman said.
The drugs were found in 25 separate packages in and beside the water after a member of the public alerted by the RCIPS.
Officers searched the area around Prospect Cemetery but did not find any more packages.
Police issued this photograph of the drugs found off Prospect Point.
