Two people, including an 82 year-old woman, were arrested Thursday on suspicion of unlawful firearms possession.
The Royal Cayman Islands Police Service conducted a dawn search in West Bay’s Logwoods area and recovered an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
Both occupants of the home, a 46 year-old man and the woman were arrested.
The woman was later released on police bail. At press time, the man was still in custody.
