A 34-year-old George Town man has been arrested on suspicion of stabbing a man earlier this week. Officers were called to the Cayman Islands Hospital shortly after 1 a.m. on Monday after a man with stab wounds to his abdomen had arrived in a private car.
The man told police he was stabbed during an argument at a residence on School Road in George Town. After officers went to the premises and made inquiries, a man attended George Town Police Station around 3:30 a.m., where he was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm. Police confirmed the arrested man remained in custody Tuesday afternoon.
