Bodden Town man arrested in burglaries

A Bodden Town man, Jeff Pandohie Powell, has been charged in connection with two burglaries at private homes in that district last month.

Royal Cayman Islands Police officers arrested Powell on around 11 a.m. on Monday, March 28, after sighting the suspect and tracking him down.

Powell has been charged with burglary, attempted burglary, criminal trespass, theft and refusing to provide a urine sample, police said.

The charges arise from burglaries that occurred in Bodden Town on March 20 and March 26.

Powell appeared in court Wednesday and has been remanded to Northward Prison until April 14.
