East End Primary rock their socks for Down Syndrome Day

Students of the East End Primary School showcase an array of brightly colored socks.

Students and staff of East End Primary School showed their support for Down Syndrome Day by wearing their craziest socks to school for “Rock Your Socks Cayman” on March 21.

In observance of Down Syndrome Day, and as a means of sensitizing students to the condition, a short presentation and lesson on Down Syndrome were provided.

Rock Your Socks Cayman is a Special Needs Foundation campaign designed to promote awareness and support those living with the genetic chromosomal disorder in the community.

This year marked the fourth Cayman Down Syndrome Day.
