Motorcyclist injured in Bodden Town accident

An 18-year old motorcyclist was catapulted into the bushes after losing control of his bike Saturday evening.

The teenager was riding a yellow 2005 Suzuki DR7 motorcycle along Windward Drive, Bodden Town, when he crashed into a wall and ended up in the bushes.

He was recovering in hospital Sunday, following the collision at 6 p.m. Saturday. His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

In a separate incident a cyclist was hospitalized after a collision with a vehicle at the junction of Smith Road and Crewe Road in George Town around 9 a.m. Saturday.
