Members of the public are invited to buy tickets for Cayman HospiceCare’s “Sky of Hope,” scheduled for Wednesday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Seven Mile public beach. Biodegradable lanterns will be released into air to celebrate life, raise awareness of Cayman HospiceCare, and raise funds for the important charitable organization.
There are a couple of packages for people to buy, depending on their numbers. A Friends & Family package is $100 for two adults, which includes a bottle of Prosecco and two lanterns. A Group & Corporate package is $1000 for 20 adults, which includes 10 bottles of Prosecco and 20 lanterns. Children 17 years and younger are free.
Food will be available for an additional cost on-site provided by Smokin’ Bros and Al La Kebab, and there will be musical entertainment on the evening.
“Join us for a wonderful evening of sunset, bubbles, smooth beach vibes by DJ Derek and a beautiful synchronized lantern release honoring our loved ones past and present,” stated the organization’s Facebook page.
