Pilates For Pink
Oct. 8: Join ENERGY for its annual Pilates for Pink fundraiser at the ARC, Camana Bay, from 9-11 a.m. Registration is $25, and each participant receives a selection of pink goodies. CIASA 800M Sea Swim
Oct. 8: CIASA stages the second race of the 2016-17 Open Water season at Governors Beach. There will be the traditional 800m swim, open to all, and a 400m swim for the 12 and unders, which is not a timed event. Start time is 4 p.m. for the 800m; 4:45 for the 400m. Registration is 3-3:45 p.m. The fee for the 800m is $15 adults and $10 children for CIASA members, and $20 adults and $15 children for non-CIASA members. The 400m swim is $10. There will be trophies for the top three finishers in each age group. The children in the 400m race will receive participation ribbons. There will also be T-shirts and refreshments.
6th Annual Island Roast
Oct. 8: Feed Our Future Cayman holds its Island Roast at Coral Beach Camana Bay, starting at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $150 per person and include entry plus all food and drinks for the evening. Shoes are optional. For information and to buy tickets, email [email protected]
Oct. 12: Thinking about entering the marathon this year? Join the Intertrust Cayman Islands Marathon team and guest speakers, nutritionist Andrea Hill and Cayman Physiotherapy, as they offer tips on marathon nutrition and a physiotherapist’s guide to recovery and injury prevention. This event will be held at the Westin resort from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
