On Friday, day four at the FINA World Championships (25m) in Windsor, Ontario, Alison Jackson swam a personal best in the 50 backstroke with a 31.25 and Lauren Hew swam a personal best in the 50B of 28.86, which is also a new Cayman Islands Amateur Swimming Association and Cayman Islands National Record – bringing her collection of records to eight (4 CIASA and 4 Cayman Islands National) so far.

Saturday was the last day of swimming for Team Cayman, but an update was not ready as of press time Sunday.
