Arrest in road rage case

Police arrested a 45-year-old West Bay man Monday in relation to an alleged road rage incident the previous day on West Bay Road.

The man was arrested for damage to property and causing fear or provocation of violence, police said in a statement Thursday.

The man has been released on police bail, while an investigation continues.

According to the police’s original statement, the RCIPS received a report around 6:20 p.m. on Sunday of a female driver who was allegedly dragged from her vehicle by the male driver of another vehicle and assaulted.

Police said the woman did not report any serious injuries, and the car she was traveling in was slightly damaged.
