The month of March brings lots of variety to the big screen, from the animated flick “Peter Rabbit” to the reboot of the Charles Bronson classic “Death Wish,” this time starring Bruce Willis as the protagonist. It seems that he and Liam Neeson are firmly ensconced in their older tough guy roles while Gerard Butler flails in one flop after the next.
Two religious tales are coming up in the form of “Samson” and “Mary Magdalene,” probably due to the fact that this is the month for Easter. Meanwhile Jennifer Lawrence is not all she seems in “Red Sparrow”; Lara Croft is back with Alicia Vikander taking over the reins from Angelina Jolie (whom I loved in the role, so let’s see what Vikander can do); and the much-anticipated “Ready Player One,” from none other than filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
