The Department of Children and Family Services and Hazard Management Cayman Islands are inviting people to sign up as hurricane shelter volunteers for the 2018 hurricane season.
Sign-up and training sessions will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 8 and 9, from 6-8:30 p.m. Anyone interested in becoming a shelter volunteer will be required to attend both sessions.
A location for the training will be announced shortly, according to a press release.
The registration deadline is Tuesday, May 1.
