The public is invited to take an international trip on Saturday, April 21 at Sir John A. Cumber Primary School from 6-8 p.m.
Each year, the school’s students research the countries of a particular global region as part of being an International Baccalaureate school. In doing so, they learn about a country’s culture, customs, religion, political structure, educational system, weather patterns, food, dress and other features.
On Saturday, at the 2018 “International Night,” which this year is called “Passport to the World – A Celebration of Cultures,” each student will take part in a cultural performance, including such elements as dance, songs, poetry, video presentations and drama. They also have food and craft items related to their country of study and informational displays.
