The annual celebration of cocktails and the island’s finest mixologists is back and kicks off this month with a whole host of activities, events and delicious drinks. Now in its sixth year, the Cayman Cocktail Week 2018 schedule runs from Oct. 19-26 so there is plenty of time to get involved. Don’t dilly dally getting tickets though, these events are likely to sell out quickly so make sure you don’t miss out on the biggest drinks event of the year.

Known for its industry-focused detail with an overarching element of fun, Cayman Cocktail Week founder and brand manager at Jacques Scott, Jo Austin says, “Expect something for everyone. We run a workshop every year which is a hands-on cocktail experience, we host happy hours, some spectacular dinners, brunches and industry meet and greets.

Whether you’re interested in chatting about barrel aging with some of the top professionals in our industry or just hanging out with friends and sipping a delicious cocktail, we have something you’ll enjoy.”

If you can’t make any of the scheduled events, not to worry! Throughout October, you can stop by any of the 25 participating bars and restaurants to try one of their signature Cayman Cocktail Week cocktails.

This year will also see the introduction of Cocktail Week BINGO. Here are some of the events that have already been announced for the coming celebrations.

Craft Your Own Caesar

The beauty of a Caesar is that it can be as simple or as complicated as you like. Some vodka, Clamato juice, spices, pepper, and you are off to the races. Or you can go bananas with celery sticks, shrimp, onions and even half a lobster if you’re really ambitious. Make your own at Craft F&B Co. or leave it to the experts behind the bar.
