The Cayman Islands Society of Human Resources Professionals announced its newly elected board.
Formed in April 2000, the society aims to advance the standards and recognition of the human resources field in Cayman. CISHRP also offers professional development to further the human resources competencies among its members and the public.
The society’s board consists of nine human resources professionals from both the public and private sectors. Led by President Elisa Brown, the new board will further establish a network of collaboration, sharing ideas and problem-solving within the human resources community and continue to build the credibility of human resources as a profession, the society said.
The board members are Raymond Swarts, director of training and development; Alanna Warwick-Smith, director of communications; Samantha Bennett, vice president; Louise Reed, director of membership; Felicia Deslandes, director of events; Iva Rozinkova, treasurer; Joanna Virtue-Markman, director of sponsorship and fundraising; Elisa Brown, president; and Chris Bailey, past president.
