A 63-year-old man died Tuesday afternoon after he reportedly had a medical emergency which caused him to fall and hit his head at the fish market on North Church Street in George Town, police said.
Police and other emergency services were called to the fish market just after 2:30pm, and began administering first aid.
The man, from George Town, was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Police said they were investigating.
