Police named the deceased victim of an accident involving a dirt bike as 57-year-old Virgil Bush of West Bay.

Bush was riding the bike along Watercourse Road on Sunday evening when he reportedly lost control of the bike and fell into the opposite lane, in front of an oncoming vehicle.

He was responsive at the scene and was taken to hospital, police said, but succumbed to his injuries overnight.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who was in the area on the day of the incident and may have seen what took place to come forward and speak to the police.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the George Town Police Station
