The Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation jumpstarted competition season Sunday with the first leg of the National Jumping Series at The Equestrian Center.

In her jumping competition debut, Ava Law won the .6-metre class while riding Amarilla. Other winners included Madison Ameline and Twinkle (.7 class), and Leah Alberta and Moon Lady, who rode to wins in both the .8 and .9-metre classes. The event marked the .9-metre class debut for Alberga.

The second leg of the three-part National Jumping Series takes place Sunday, 17 Nov. at The Equestrian Center.
