Eppie Heaney-Henderson was victorious during the Cayman Islands Equestrian Federation latest dressage show on Sunday, 7 Jan.
The event held at the Equestrian Center on Linford Pierson Highway saw Heaney-Henderson earn blue ribbons in three classes, two of which were earned from Sunday’s Edition and the other from riding her horse Sparkles.
The highest score of the day was recorded by Emily McDonald, who was named High Point Junior for her ride on Pony Up. In addition, Heaney-Henderson’s ride at Training Level Test 1 on Sunday’s Edition, was enough for High Point Adult honours.
Jessica McTaggart, who shares the same name as the CIEF’s National Dressage Coach, is a USEF-rated ‘r’ dressage judge, flew in from Florida to judge the competition.
The next upcoming CIEF horse show will be the National Jumping Series #2, which will be held on 28 Jan., followed by a dressage show on 2 Mar. Both shows will be held at the Equestrian Center. All spectators are welcome with no admission cost.
