Two teams have managed to separate themselves from the pack in the first two weeks of the Cayman Islands Premier League schedule.

Scholars and Bodden Town are the only two teams that have won twice in the season’s opening weeks, and the two undefeated clubs will both play at home this weekend.

Scholars, which beat Roma by a 3-1 score last weekend, will play Alliance at Ed Bush on Saturday evening. Bodden Town, which took out Latinos last week, will go up against Future at home on Sunday.

Both Roma and Latinos won in the first week of the schedule before losing last weekend.

Scholars is +5 in goal differential this season, while Bodden Town is +4 through two games.

Academy, which earned a tie in the first week of the schedule, vaulted all the way up to third place by virtue of a 4-0 victory against North Side on Saturday.

Academy will next play Sunset – which earned a momentous 4-1 win over Alliance on Saturday – at the Annex on Sunday evening.

Five teams – Elite, Sunset, Latinos, Roma and Alliance – are tied at three points through two weeks. Elite and Latinos will play each other on Saturday evening.

Only four teams – Future, George Town, East End and North Side – have failed to win a game so far. George Town and North Side will be matched against each other at the Annex on Saturday night.

East End, meanwhile, will be the home team against Roma on Sunday evening.
