The Pines Retirement Home has a young visitor drop by on Wednesday to help the elderly residents prepare for Valentine’s Day.
Ava Chatburn, 4, made Valentine’s Day cards at the retirement home on Wednesday. Some of the cards will be delivered to Meals on Wheels housebound recipients on Friday, while others will remain with the retirement home residents.
Ava was taking part in the ‘Kids with a Heart’ initiative at The Pines.
The Pink Ladies Volunteer Corps sponsored the card-making supplies.
