A brawl outside a George Town bar landed one man in hospital on Sunday night with serious injuries to his face.
The incident happened just after 10:30pm on Sunday.
Police said officers and other emergency service responded to a residence on Anthony Drive in George Town, following the report of a serious assault.
The injured man was attended to by the Emergency Medical Services and transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
Police said it was reported that the man had been assaulted by several others outside the Power Supply Bar located at the Marquee Plaza on Lawrence Boulevard, George Town a short while earlier.
The victim, police said, is believed to have sustained serious but non-life-threatening facial injuries.
He has since been discharged.
CID is investigating the incident and is appealing to anyone with information regarding the assault, specifically, anyone who may have witnessed what happened.
