The Cayman Islands Humane Society held its annual 5K Walk and Wag at Safehaven early Sunday.
Runners and walkers were encouraged to bring their own dogs or to collect dogs from the shelter for the walk.
The event raised funds to provide shelter, food and medical care to the Humane Society’s dogs and cats.
There are currently 72 dogs and 56 cats at the shelter, with another 97 dogs and 101 cats in foster homes.

So happy to see the Humane Society doing this! Will be interesting if Cayman Compass removed the thumbs up or down button again to try and suppress support or discontent for comments or if its a “glitch”. 😀
