Police are currently on the scene of an operation at Archie’s Bar on Shedden Road, at which a loaded firearm and drugs have been recovered.
In a brief statement to the Cayman Compass Friday afternoon, a police spokesperson confirmed that nine people have been arrested thus far.
”It is still an active operation at present, but I can tell you there have been nine arrests so far for offences including drugs, firearms, lottery tickets. One loaded firearm recovered,” the spokesperson said.
The raid started earlier Friday afternoon.
