One man is in serious condition and undergoing treatment at hospital after a single vehicle collision in the early hours of Thursday morning, police have said.
The incident happened shortly after 3:00am on Mangrove Avenue, Prospect.
A police statement said the collision occurred when the vehicle was travelling north on Mangrove Avenue.
It veering off the roadway into a fence and collided with a utility pole.
A single male occupant sustained serious injuries, police said, and has been transported to George Town Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
The roadway was temporarily closed while police carried out their investigations, it has since been reopened.
The electricity in the area is out and CUC is at the scene carrying out repairs to restore electricity as soon as possible.
