One person remained in critical, but stable condition at hospital on Monday afternoon following a three-vehicle collision Saturday night which involved a police vehicle.

The incident happened about 11:50pm on Shamrock Road, Savannah, and involved a Honda Accord, Kia Optima and an RCIPS Ford Explorer service vehicle.

Police, in a statement on the crash, said the two occupants of the Kia Sorento have been discharged from hospital, while the occupant of the Ford Explorer was discharged earlier on Monday.

The driver of a Honda Accord sustained serious injuries and remained hospitalised Monday.

The circumstances of the crash has not been released; however, police said they continue to investigate the collision and have appealed for anyone witnesses to contact the George Town Police Station at 949-222, or the Traffic and Roads Policing Unit at 649-6254.
