A single charge of murder against Javon James Dixon, has been transmitted to the Grand Court where he will next appear on Friday 8 July.
Dixon, 28, of Bodden Town has been charged with the shooting death of a 32-year-old Bodden Town man who died after being shot near Gun Square Road, Bodden Town on Friday, 1 July.
Appearing in the Summary Court by video link earlier today, Tuesday 5 July, Dixon listened on as Magistrate Angelyn Hernandez sent the charge up to the higher court.
“Mr Dixon this is a Category A matter, which can only be dealt with in the higher court, therefore it has been transmitted and you will next appear before the Grand Court on Friday,” said Hernandez.
At time of publication of this article, the deceased’s identity had not been released by police.
