A 28-year-old from Bodden Town has been charged with murder in relation to a shooting on Gun Square Road on Friday.
The man was arrested on Friday, after a 32-year-old, also from Bodden Town, was shot dead in the late afternoon.
He will appear in court tomorrow, Tuesday 5 July. Neither the victim nor the alleged shooter have been formally named by police at this point.
The shooting happened in the Gun Square area of the town around 5:30 p.m, according to a police report Friday evening.
“On arriving at the scene, emergency services attended to a man who appeared to have gunshot injuries.

“The man was transported to the Cayman Islands Hospital where he was pronounced deceased by the attending doctor,” the RCIPS said in a statement.
