Police are investigating after a report of two men robbing a grocery store on Hirst Road in Bodden Town, on Thursday night, 3 Nov.
Shortly after 8:40pm, officers responded to a report that two masked men had approached the store, with one remaining outside and the other entering the premises brandishing what appeared to be a firearm, the Royal Cayman Islands Police Service said in a press release.
The man who entered the store demanded cash, according to police. Both men then fled towards the rear of the store with a quantity of cash and cigarettes.
The police said that the two men were described as wearing masks and long-sleeved hooded jackets.
No shots were fired and no one was injured in the incident.
